Why "Outis"?
Nobody.
In Homer's Odyssey, Odysseus tells the Cyclops his name is Outis: "Nobody". It saves his life. Outis makes your files give the same answer when asked who made them, where, and on what device.
Every photo you take can quietly carry where you were, what phone you used and exactly when. Outis removes it all before you share, right on your phone.

What a photo can carry
Cameras save hidden details inside every picture. Anyone you send it to can read them.
GPS coordinates accurate to a few metres. Your home, your school, your office.
Phone model, serial numbers, and the exact date and time down to the second.
Motion-photo video clips and preview thumbnails that can still show what you cropped out.
How it works
Pick photos in Outis, or share them straight from your gallery into the app.
Choose one photo or a whole batch. Outis reads only the photos you pick.
See exactly what's hidden inside, in plain words, with the riskiest items first.
Get a new copy with a random name, checked again and verified clean. Your original stays untouched.
Privacy by design
Outis was built without internet access. There's no server to send your photos to and nothing to upload. You can check it yourself: on Google Play, "Full network access" isn't in the app's permissions.

Support
Outis has no ads and nothing to buy. If it's helped you and you'd like to keep it that way, you can buy me a coffee. Entirely optional: the app is the same for everyone.
